Innovation Montessori High School (IMHS) is a school focused on preparing students for college, career, and global citizenship. Our vision is that IMHS students will master critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, a global perspective, purpose, and the ability to transfer knowledge and skills across subject matter lines to become the visionary creators of the fluid and fast-paced future. We believe that all students will benefit from and be valorized by an academically rigorous program. To demonstrate success, IMHS students must fulfill important academic requirements and take responsibility for their own learning.

IMHS Secondary Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide a game-changing Secondary education to cultivate independent, inspired and innovative leaders through purpose-driven Project-based Learning, a Montessori focus on a global perspective, and a four-year-long Innovation Incubator.

Our vision: IMHS students master critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, a global perspective, purpose, and the ability to transfer knowledge and skills across subject matter lines in order to become the visionary creators of the fluid and fast-paced future.

Our Program

Secondary 1 classes will consist of 7th-9th grade students.

Secondary 2 classes will consist of 10th-12th grade students.

IMHS provides a high school education under the state of Florida guidelines, giving students a pathway to college and career readiness. While students meet the requirements for high school graduation, as a Montessori charter we also aim to provide a launchpad for our students, encouraging them to become responsible and engaged citizens of the world.

Through our Montessori High School model, inquiry-based learning, and the Innovation Incubator, IMHS students engage in critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, purpose, and the ability to transfer knowledge and skills across subjects.

7th and 8th grade students participate in our service learning projects throughout the school year in the Personal Skills and Career Development Program. Students cultivate entrepreneurial skills through our unique four-year long (9-12 grades) Innovation Incubator Program, which culminates in the development of a capstone product.
